There's no such thing as an easy game. Every team is fighting to hit their own targets and Real Madrid will be up against an UCAM Murcia who sit on the same amount of wins as the two teams currently in the drop zone (9). Sito Alonso's men have to turn their form around having won just once in their last four games.
UCAM Murcia put up a decent fight in the first game, losing just 80-74 with 22 points from Thompkins. The American ace was decisive on Murcia soil last season too, clinching victory by 61-63. Real Madrid boast the competition's best offense with an average of 88 points, 10 greater than their rivals. However, the gulf between the two teams is best reflected in the PIR stats: Laso's men top this element with 105, to the hosts' 75.6, the worst in the League.
Taylor is in the squad in place of Prepelic, Reyes won't travel. Big news are that S.Llull will play tonight, coming back after the injury.
Yoshihito Nishioka easily defeated American Mackenzie McDonald in the opening round. Up next is another American and last year’s runner up in Estoril, Frances Tiafoe. Tiafoe looked more like the player we saw at the beginning of the year in his straight-set win over Mikhail Kukushkin. Tiafoe is one of the few American men that don’t mind playing on the clay. I like his chances here against a tough player in Nishioka.
This is their first meeting ever.
Early MLB match. Both starting pitchers are looking pretty bad at the start of the season. Mets pitcher N.Syndergaard have a record of 1-3 when starting a game and his ERA is 6.35. His opponent Reds pitcher Tyler Mahle have a record of 0-3 when starting a game and his ERA is 4.50. Mahle has allowed 13 runs in his last 17 innings and is giving up a .294 batting average on the season. Syndergaard looks nothing like the pitcher we're used to seeing, as he's allowed four or more earned runs in each of his last four starts, has walked to or more in four of his last five starts and is allowing a .299 batting average on the season. Also over his last three starts, Syndergaard has been tagged for 27 hits and 16 runs across 15 frames.
Looking to both pitchers poor form, it’s easy call for OVER. Good luck!
Pablo Cuevas is having one of the luckiest weeks a lucky loser can have on tour. Cuevas lost to Salvatore Caruso in the final round of qualifying only to play him again in the first round after Filip Krajinovic withdrew with a foot injury. Now, instead of Italian Fabio Fognini, he’ll face Italian Filippo Baldi. Cuevas has played a lot of tennis lately, which will catch up to him eventually, but he shouldn’t have any issues here.
First leg of CL semifinal. This match will be referred by dutchman Bjorn Kuipers. In this competition, he had showed 22 yellow cards over 6 matches, he referred, that 3.6 avaraged per match. Barcelona commits fouls 10.3 per game, and suffer 15 fouls per game. Liverpool commits 12.4 fouls per game, and suffers 10.6 fouls per game. Both sides doesn't have yellow cards problems, so they will not be hesitant for fouls, which could lead to a card. If Barcelona conceed goal, or some calls will not go their way that, they can loose their cool head. On the other hand for Liverpool will be hard to contain Messi and Co without fouls, so i predicted couple of yellow cards for both teams.
